Thinking About Getting Laser Eye Surgery

I’m extremely short sighted and have needed to wear glasses since I was seven years old; this means that for nearly my whole life I have been suffering from the massive inconvenience of not being able to see beyond the end of my nose unless I’ve got my glasses or contact lenses on. And to make things worse, now I’m in my forties, I’m finding I also need reading glasses for reading or close work.

So I’ve been thinking about getting laser eye surgery for a year or so now and I think I might get it done this summer. I had a look at the Optical Express website and completed the short test on there that tells you whether you’re suitable to have the procedure, and it says that even though I’m so short sighted with a slight astigmatism, I would be suitable to have the surgery.

I’m sure that once I’ve had the surgery, I’ll be kicking myself for not having had it done sooner!
